After 4 back to back weekends of BBQ competitions, we are looking forward to having about a month off! A few catering jobs will keep us behind the grills though!
Just have to share the results from the last of the 4, from Beat the Heat in Alamosa, Colorado….
We had a good cook along the Rio Grande: 7th in chicken, 1st in ribs, 6th in pork and 4th in brisket.
Finishing 4th overall — and putting us in the top 100 in each category in the nation!
Congrats to Swinestone Cowboys for GC and Big Poppa Smokers for RGC.
Time for a couple weeks off…
